Religion was given because men lacked science and mathematics. Superstition was given because men could not handle [emotionally] the laws of religion. Religion stops science whereas superstition is in a hurry to justify itself – even to become religion or a pseudoscience. If you can’t handle your mind – it is stopped. If you can’t handle your heart, you’re given room to explore. Why? The Hindu believe you are judged by your heart not by your mind. The heart is that layer of glue that holds the old reptilian brain together with the cerebral modern part. I guess that’s why heart leads to salvation whereas human endeavor just gets more of God’s scorn. Faithless leadership.
